These terms and conditions apply to all orders for delivery to the UK. Placing an order constitutes your acceptance thereof. Despatch of the products by us constitutes acceptance of the order by us and the commencement of our contract to supply. Your contract for supply is with us Orchid Supplies UK. Your statutory rights are not affected by any of these terms.

Our Commitment

We are committed to supplying high quality products and the highest level of customer service to the recreational gardener to the avid grower.

We are very proud of our personal approach to our customers, be it help with cultivation or products. Our rapid communication we feel is second to none and very hard to match. This is our main vision and ethos.

Availability

We will endeavour only to offer products which we expect to have in stock and available for ordering, but all items are subject to availability. Products that become unavailable should not be selectable on our website.

Delivery

We aim to process your order for courier collection from us within 2 working days, often the next day. We have courier collections from Monday through to Friday, not including public holidays.

Sometimes delays may be expected as we attend orchid shows throughout the year, this information is normally displayed on our main webpage.

If the recipient of the order is unlikely to be home to take delivery, we are happy to include a short message on the address label with instructions for the courier/post person. E.g. if out please leave in porch etc. Please provide these special instructions at time of placing your order in the comments section. Please note that we cannot guarantee, nor be responsible for, non-compliance with your instructions. We cannot accept liability for non-delivery for reasons including: recipient not available; not collected from delivery agent; address not accessible, delivery charge will still stand and goods will be returned to us.

Although we will always do our best to deliver on the date requested there will be occasions when this is not possible due to circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, Sundays or Public Holidays.

P&P

All such P&P charges are shown and added automatically to your shopping cart. There is a postage estimate function so you know the cost of delivery before checkout, you may then go back and add or remove items to suit. Special conditions may apply to certain postcodes if we incur extra delivery charges.

 

Distance Selling Regulations

In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 7 working days after receipt. Please note that this does NOT extend to perishable items including living plants. If you wish to cancel an order please contact us within 7 working days after receipt. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession and they must be returned to us, promptly, at your cost. We can arrange collection of larger items, but you will be charged for this service at cost. We reserve the right to cancel any order.

Payment and Vouchers

We accept Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards which is processed by a secure virtual payment by WorldPay, when we submit your credit card number for authorization, they use state of-the-art data encryption to protect your information. If you wish to pay by cheque you will need to post your order to us. Please note that your account will be debited/cheque cashed on receipt of your order by us. If your card issuer or bank refuses to authorise payment to us, we will contact you for further instructions. We will not be liable for any resulting delay or non-delivery. Refunds are only payable to the purchaser of the goods.

Online vouchers and order codes are personal to each individual and any inappropriate use is fraud. We reserve the right to cancel any vouchers or order codes at any time.

Prices

Prices reflect the latest prices for all products. However, we reserve the right to change prices at any time. All prices include VAT, if applicable.

If, in error, a product(s) has been priced inaccurately, either at unit level or through the activation of a promotion, we will not be liable to supply that item(s) to you at the inaccurate price. In such circumstances, we will notify you of the correct price and ask you to confirm or decline your order for the item(s) in question.

Endangered Species / Genetic Modification

We will not knowingly offer for sale endangered species harvested from the wild or any genetically modified products.

New and Exclusive

Where an item is defined as 'New' it is new to our range. Where an item is defined as 'Exclusive' it means that this item is believed to only be available in this form from us and our associated brands.

All rights, including copyright, in the content of our catalogues and web pages are owned or controlled by us. In accessing our web pages, you agree that you may only download the content for your own individual and non-commercial use. You are not permitted to copy, broadcast, download, store (in any medium) transmit, show or play in public, adapt or change in any way the content of our web pages for any other purpose without our prior written permission.

Third Party Information

We cannot be held responsible for material displayed on third party websites or any other written material. The only prices that apply for our products are those stated within our catalogues and website. We will not be bound to prices quoted by shopping directories or other media.

We strive for 100% Customer Satisfaction

We promise to supply products in prime condition. If for any reason you are not 100% delighted upon receipt of your order, please advise us by email or in writing within 7 days and we will offer a replacement (subject to availability), or credit, or refund the purchase price. Please note that any manufactured goods (e.g. gardening sundries) must be returned if you require a refund. It would be helpful if photographic evidence is provided when requesting a refund or replacement.

Product Reviews

Please note that by submitting a review you agree to us owning the rights to publish your review in any marketing / promotional material at our sole discretion.

Images and Video

Any images or video materials submitted through any digital channels will become, by default, the copyright of Orchid Supplies UK. We may use your image for the foreseeable future in any marketing literature either online or in paper format.

  • Shipping costs - Your shopping cart is weight based so you are paying shipping based on the total weight of your cart so make the most of this. The weight should be clearly stated in your shopping cart at the time of ordering. With the cost of transport and fuel nowadays the shipping costs offer good value for money considering the items arrive at your door!

  • We attend a variety of shows throughout the year and would be pleased to bring a pre order thus saving you postage costs, please see forth coming events and contact us with your requirements or make your order through our website but on checkout select the 'Collection' option and specify where in the comments section.
